...put the old heater on and get nothing,bugger!get to where i was goin ,checked the fuse,it was blown changed it all well and good it works.
Right, when i was driving home i noticed when i was braking all the needles on the guages were dropping charge,temp and fuel.tek me foot off the brake they return to normal positions...anybody got any ideas?
motor is a 1988 110 na diesel sw
 
Well its a dodgey wire or earth somewhere...

I would check the brake pedal switch wiring where it runs into the loom, could be the heater fused because of a short where a wire rubbed through, melted something, several wires melted/rubber through...

I think your going to need to be patient with a meter this weekend.

i know it aint the prettiest of jobs most of the loom was replaced last year(ada bbq in there) did notice sum water as the fuse box cover had evidence of it,so guess what i,m doin tomorrow:eek:
