Hi. After letting my Series III half-dismantled in the barn for the last three years, I'm now getting around to putting it back together, which includes replacing the rear quarter chassis. As I can't get the car on the road or to a garage in its current state, and was told that welding isn't that difficult, I bought the part hoping to weld it on myself, even though I never welded anything before. I'd also hoped to find infos on the net as to how to proceed, as well as regarding what kind of welding equipment is required, but no luck so far. I wonder if anyone here can help. Any advice, tips, link to relevant site would be most appreciated. Many thanks.

Thanks to all for your replies. Only got back on this site today on account of temperamental phone line... Still, good news as I found someone local who can come over to weld the quarter chassis on. So it's now all looking forward to getting the old Series III back in working order again.
Cheers.
