Welding gas help

Hi knowledgeable peeps,

I have a hobby weld bottle onto a dual guage regulator, the torch is leaking gas at the blue connector in the picture below when I press the button.

When I got the welder the regulator was faulty and I'm wondering if its blown the pipe out, the gas only leaks from here when I pull the trigger.

Therefore gas is not going to the torch head, crappy weld commence.

Can this be repaired?

Any advice would be great. Picture below.

Also what should the Bar (non-alco) be set to when welding?
