Weird Problem

Hello.

When I get into my 03 TD6 and engage Reverse, it moves perfectly, but when I engage Drive it doesn't engage for a few seconds. It only seems to have occurred since I washed it underneath for MOT. Is it possible that I have annoyed the cable and is there anyway of adjusting it? It just doesn't seem to be engaging properly. When it does engage the box is changing perfectly and the kick-down and everything is fine.

Any help would be appreciated folks.

Can be that you upset it with some water, as far as I am aware there isn't any cables only electric.

Thanks, on the older ones there is a cable. Going to get it onto the lift and have a nosey tomorrow.
