P38A Weird Hevac thing

Spoke too soon. Just went back to it and nothing. When the buttons lit up i still had no fan control so I'm still guessing dirty/ corroded pins. I hit it with a different contact cleaner before it stopped working again so I've soaked the plug in the original cleaner and I'll give it a while to work and see.

If there is hard corrosion, contact cleaner will not always shift it. Fitting a replacement connector from a breaker may be the only answer.

Was thinking that too. I'm bidding on an ultrasonic cleaner on eBay at the minute. Might see how that goes if i get it. I can lay my hands on a connector if needs be too.
