I recently installed my muffler after running it for a while with a straight pipe.
Now I can hear things again.
I realise that the BFG MT tyres are noisy but am hearing what I think is a really noisy tyre.
Its making a wawawawawa sound that speeds up as I increase speed.
I read that wheel bearing noise is similar or that you may think its a tyre.
I recently did the wheel shake test and all 4 wheels are nice and solid.
The noise is more of a howl than a roar. I am feeling no vibration coming through the steering wheel.
The other reason I am hoping its just a noisy tyre is that when I go from one kind of road to another, meaning that the asphalt is different the sound changes. Gets louder or softer.
My other thoughts were maybe diffs/transfer box or gear box. But surely when I go on different roads it would not change the sound.
Am I freaking out?
Do BFG MT's get noisier as they get older?
Should I be worried?
Thanks.
