Waterproofing canvas

Need to buy sone spray treatment for the hood on the 90. Looking at the 303 stuff, which seems well liked, but grateful if anyone can suggest anything better, or has used 303 and can let me know how it is please?

I bought some Fabisil for my caravan awning, not used it yet but its highly rated in the caravanning world. Various sizes of tins available, got mine from Halfrauds.

303 is a great product

Thomsons Waterseal (available from DIY stores) also works well and is considerably cheaper - used to use this on our TVR roof

Water seal for brick works very well and lots cheaper

Ive always used tompsons brick seal, done all my landies and my tents with it=good stuff, and alot cheaper than fabsil.

Certainly don't buy does the brick stuff soak into the canvas rather than seal it on the surface? Hood's on and off all the time, thus the question.

Yep - it's very liquid so either spray (I brushed on) and have plenty of kitchen roll ready to catch any drips

Just an update. Went with 303 and it's been a revelation. Massive difference. Thanks all.

Gotto say -
I've got some barely used GG tyres which are getting on a bit and looking fairly grey and dry.

Bought some of the 303 'aerospace protectant' and it has restored them to a nice original rubbery look and feel without all that boy racer 'wet look' gloss.

Hopefully will buy a few more years yet.
