Water pump

Hi I'm needing to change the water pump on my 300tdi discovery has anyone got any info on this please.
Also do I need to remove the fan to replace the water pump looking at it I need to remove the water pump pulley and power steering pulley.

The bolts on the water pump pulley might be a chew to get off as it moves about loads as in wobbly the shaft must of broke.

yes remove fan but leave belt on to help hold pulley for undoing the 3 bolts a lever jammed between spanner and another bolt head should be enough to undo then so obviously slacken all 3 before removing any , the 3 lower bolts on pump are the 3 thayt go all the way through to block so care needs to be taken not to shear them often need working back and forth to break corrosion

Thanks for the reply I've got it all stripped down and I'm changing the P gasket why I'm on with it save doing it when I have it all back together lol
