Water leak on tdci

Keep finding water dripping in the car from around top of the doors near head lining.

Today I found a crack right across the top of the windscreen

Any ideas??

You just need to replace the seal, not very expensive.

that does not look like the windscreen seal it looks like the roof to surround seal,just clean it off and fill with tigerseal or clear silicone

Hi. You'll need to cut out the old sealant and re apply some new. It's a bit like sealing around your bath with silicone sealant, but it's not a silicone, it's a black rubber mastic.

Just take the roof off and replace the seal rather than using silicon

its not a difficult job and a new seal costs penny's. Make sure that the bolts are done tight enough as well

If it was me, I'd lift the roof (not remove) and fit a new seal...30min job at most

Puma defenders roof to screen frame are sealed with a tigerseal type sealant.
There's a foam strip between roof and screen but it doesn't seal it.
