Washer pump motors

I recently had to change one for the front windscreen on a P38. On doing so I noticed each of them are colour coded, black, white or blue. Does anyone know if they are the same item just with a different coloured bit on them or is there anything specifically different? The connector looks the same on them all.

Maybe different flow rates, screen needs more water and pressure than lamps or rear screen.
