Hi All
I have ABS, TC and hill decent warning lights staying on on my Discovery TD5 1999, the garage said the diagnostics code is 4084 and it could be a number of things wrong.
To trace the problem could be costly, does anyone know where I should start to look?

Do u know what diagnostic equipment did they use?....cos if it was a dedicated one then this code must have had a description e.g. "...shuttle valve..."

first of all check the play in the front wheel hubs...if there is any that's a start www.discovery2.co.uk / Front Wheel Hub / Bearing Assy

if not that's another possibility Land Rover common ECU failures

unfortunately both of them are a bit expensive ........though it has nothing to do with the engine;)

I am currently having the shuttle valve replaced...

it's what the diagnostics returned and it's under warranty.. so hopefully it is the rigth thing.. otherwise we will be having some conversations..
