Disco 3 (LR3) Warning light

Any info or help on these items would be really appreciated before I go to garage and get the fright of my life

Sounds like steering angle needs calibrating or the sensor has come adrift.
I think @gstuart has some pics of the sensor and what to check.
Check tyre pressures as well

As for hissing noise that could be normal, is is just a small hiss or does it keep on hissing? need codes reading to check.

Always worth putting up your rough location as someone might be near you with a code reader.

indeed sounds like the angle sensor is either out of calibration or yellow sleeve has come loose , will trigger the DSC

so best to get a code reader to read the codes first to see what comes up, then check and reset ur steering wheel angle sensor if required , if after, that it doesn’t cure it , u need to physically check that yellow sleeve isn’t spinning separate from column as that is what the angle sensor relies on to see where ur front wheel are

in rock crawl / low u should be able to see ur front wheels position on the instrument panel

ref the hiss, after turning the engine off and u just hear a quick hiss then that’s normal, as all the valve block solenoids slam shut and simply releases the excess air that’s not required with the engine off

but at the end of the day as mentioned u need to start with the codes and please let us know what comes up

The hissing is, I think quite loud and the car drops have walked round car park when other people are getting in and driving off or parking (honestly not stalking) and there`s doesn`t seem to make this noise ??
My mate has his own garage but he is not too keen on working on Land Rovers as the weight of the car on his ramps, but sure he can check the codes as he has all the techy gadget stuff
