But I thought you had to be in 'the trade' to get a trade card, if you're in the trade why mess about using Halfords:confused::confused:

If you're a registered company they'll usually give you a card - even if it's not motoring related. The point is not many parts suppliers are open on Sunday or up to 8 PM at night.

If you have the gift of the gab ;)

I told them boss wanted me to get a card as I travel about a lot with work and always need tools. Showed them a letterhead and got a card for 3 vans. One for me one for dad and one for uncle. :)

I got my trade card when a member of staff asked me one day if used many parts. when i said yes he just gave me a trade card no forms to show or nothing.
and i dont even have a company or anything. its a great saving on parts. my cats for the p38 where £346 from ces yet halfords where £163 and they got theres from ces. dosnt make any sence as.to how much extra they charge to the public.
