Does anyone have a knackered TD5 90 fuel pump that they would be willing to donate the fuel sender from? Maybe you've changed yours and dont know what to do with the old one.
My pump is perfect but the sender circuit board is shagged and LR tell me that the sender is not available separately from the pump. I dont want to spend hundreds of pounds but there are beer tokens available if you have one. I've taken my pump out and the sender easily detaches but mine is beyond repair as the fine circuit tracks are completely worn through.
PM me if you can help as its doing my nugget keeping track of miles driven so I dont run out. Also I've had to stick a bit of tape over the low fuel light as it stays on even when full.
