Wanted - disco 1 or series

hey guys,

Been a while since I posted anything on here, stupidly sold my disco 1 last Christmas!
With winter fast approaching I have realised I need a landy in my life lol.
Always had discos (4 different ones) so after something that runs maybe an mot failure that’s needs abit of work or would consider a series 2 or 3, depending on how much needs doing.
Only wanna spend £1000 ish, if anyone has anything suitable give me a shout.

If you don't mind bringing a trailer to Kent (or risk plod, taking a drive in an MOT failure - drives fine) you could 'restore' my 300TDi - engine fine, but new regs developed a sudden list of issues. Most are easy enough for a diy'er, just the chassis as usual that comes off in chunks...

hi ive got a disco 1 300tdi great runner had a top engine rebuild a couple of years ago. it runs grea,t only done a couple of hundred miles since rebuild . Gearbox sound, good bodywork. its had a 2 inch lift and bigger wheels fitted and all terrain tyres. its got no mot. and needs a bit of work to pass, welding on rear cross member or better a replacement one. brakes not great due to being stood around for a while. and few other famous niggly faults. call Geoff 07511370145 if interested
