Vehicle type, year, engine? Some landies suffer fuel drain back that shows with difficult starting. Cranking the engine for ages with the pedal fully down to get the sodding thing started.

This is a 1999 modelThe problem is that it is very difficult to start hot or cold.
Plug in at the agents show no problem, new glow plugs fitted.
But what i saw is when the ignition is turned to the start position the fuel pump relay jitters open and close. Can any one help?
