Hi everybody

New here, so a quick introduction: My name is Pieter and I live in Belgium. Close to Ypres, in Krombeke to be exact. I've driven Volvo's since I got my license 11 years ago and I know all about it. I even made it my business to work on 'em for other people. Currently drive a 240 diesel as daily (also have a 144 and 3 850's), but with 685 000km and a LOT of maintenance that hasn't been done (you never seem to have time for your own cars if you work on other peoples cars), it's time for something different. The 240 can only tow 1500kg's by the way, so I need something bigger.

A couple weeks ago, I bought my first Discovery. It's a 2000 V8 which runs on LPG and I adore it from the first meters I've driven in it.
There's a lot to do, but technically, it's in pretty good shape. There's only one issue left concerning the O2-sensors and fuel trims, but I'll make a post in the correct board for that.

I'll try and post some pictures aswell!

I like V8's too :D

There was one other experience with LR before the D2 and that was an '86 Range Rover Classic, V8, manual, twodoors and orange
Absolute fun to drive, but way too much work for me and my limited time. I sold that before I got it legally on the road.

It has grey leather seats, automatic transmission, a big 200 liter LPG tank in the back and no back seats. That last one is a tax thing in Belgium, don't know if you have it in UK too.

It's a great ride, I like it. A lot.
Exhaust sound could be a bit louder though, something to work on ;)

Cheers!

Edit: pictures didn't work, I hope they do now

Thanks man!
Need some space to store all those cars huh :D

Two dogs actually by the way, they like riding along!

Hello and welcome:)
Looks like the Volvo`s get used for a bit of spirted driving by the lights and wider wheels:D
