My battery condition indicator [aka voltmeter] started playing up, so I followed a couple of good tips from the forum.
1. attach a lead to the battery negative terminal and measure the voltage at the negative and positive terminals of the voltmeter, then vary the load - fan and headlights.
2. run a separate earth wire from the bulkhead to the battery negative terminal.
After doing this, the earth voltage drop on full load changed from 0.34 volts to 0.14. The positive side voltage drop is 0.10.
Question - are these good values or do I need to do further work?
Thanks.
BTW, the voltmeter now reads properly.

0.34v is a bit high but as a general rule of thumb it should read below 0.50v, the lower the better!
