Hard to tell the difference at the moment as the coolant was topped up with water following the catastophoc hose leak the other week. I have been topping it up with mixed antifreeze as it is slowly losing coolant (guess I now know where it is going...). I did spot a suspiciously pink drip on this piece of trim on the centre console, and what looks like moisture damage to the "leather" trim.

Once you finally get to the bottom of it all buddy can i suggest you invest £65 in a C-Tek battery conditioner with a traffic light lead and have it full time connected and in use when not using the car. They are a god send and i have been using them on all my cars for years now. Never had a battery issue since with one of these connected either. Well worth it mate in the end just for peace of mind. I use the C-Tek MSX-5 model which has a built in fan to keep em cool. Granted they wont cure electrical issues on a car BUT they will save and keep your battery safe all the time and fully charged.

Are you sure it’s just water no sign of antifreeze in it
+1 taste it ,seriously, if it tastes funny it probably antifreeze (heater o rings) or a cats got in and pi $$ed.could be sunroof drains clean them out ,pollen filter housing screws, seal with silicone or cover, use draught excluded,or a/c drains.suspension on high, axle stands, slide under and feel up between the bellhousing and body for the rubber drain "valves" ,give them a squeeze and you should get an armfull of dirty water and crap.good luck.

You can achieve the same with a £13.99 maintenance charger from Aldi or as @brianp38dse posted last week one from Lidl for less than £13. I've used the Aldi one for years when I fly to the sun.Expensive isn't always the best.;)

Ive never go to those type of shops mate as i leave all the shopping to her indoors so i wouldn't know about them. I only use the C-Tek model because ive been using them now for years since they first came out. I have 4 currently and the oldest is about 8 years old and works perfect still. A bit like sauces, i will only ever have Heinz and HP and Colman's.

If you don't fancy tasting it, dab with white kitchen roll, anti-freeze usually has a tint of colour to it, where as condensate does not ...

Pull the pollen filters after a rain fall and see if they are wet.
Looking into the drivers foot well there is a little black plastic triangle shaped vent, the Coolant from the orings will be hanging off it or around that area. ;)
