viscous fan

Hi All,
How the hell do ya get the above off,fitting a 200tdi into my 90 this week and I think it will hit the steering box any sugestions.

I didn't have the money at the time to fit a electric fan so i cut the fin's down on the viscous plus at this time of year you don't need one it's to bloody cold ! Just picked up a mondo one from the srapper for £10 give it a couple of months and i'll fit it.

I had MAJOR troubles doing this, tried loads of times and it just wouldn't budge.

I got it off in the end by trying when the engine was warm, put it in gear and it was a doddle.
