hi all,i have got a p38 2.5 turbo diesel and the viscous fan is running constantly,the engine therefor is running cold all the time,can anybody tell me if there is a fix for this,failing that how do i remove the fan and viscous coupling,thanks gemsdad.

As far as I know the complete unit has to be changed usually 30 mins work + skinned knuckles...

PS. is the fan unit totally locked all the time or does it turn free-ish when the engine is cold???

I would check the thermostat first as even if the fan runs all the time at full speed the thermostat should control the running temp by closing
