I keep getting asked how I film my green lane videos so maybe this will be of interest to people.

I do a few product reviews every now and again and I wrote this one recently having been given a Drift Ghost HD camera to try out.

I have to say that having just used it on a full weekend’s laning it’s the best bit of kit I’ve used in a long time. As long as its not too dark, the pictures are amazing and the remote is genius!

I personally found the camera in the iPhone 4S and above was ideal, the image stabilisation works really well and the colours stayed true even going in and out of sunlight, only thing is it fills your phone up quick...

Yeah I used my iphone for a while but like you say, its difficult to film a day with or mount steadily. My early films were done with smartphone and the quality of the finished films is chalk and cheese. In my humble opinion

Interestingly a supplier of this camera in the UK has seen my review and wants to break into the off roading marketing. They have sent me a load of 10% discount codes to use against this camera. Having used it last weekend I have to say I am a convert and I've bought a couple myself.

If anyone wants a discount code just drop me a PM. It actually says it can be used against Helmet Cameras, Mounts and accessories so even if the Drift isn't your bag then it might be useful.

Here's the latest film I shot mostly with this camera.

Thanks for posting this, been looking for a camera to take up to the Hebrides this year. This seems to be one to look into. Are those discount codes still valid?

No problem. Having got two now and used them on a number of trips, I'm even more confident and happy with the performance from them.

Picture quality is fantastic now I've sussed the exposure settings!

As far as I'm aware the discount codes are still valid. They are at home at the moment but if you message me I'll sort it out for you.

Lol. That's a completely different beast! Not waterproof, no remote. Sound is poor. It's an in car accident camera. Depends what quality videos you want to make I guess!
