vibration

got a 300tdi and a bad steering vibration and a bit through the floor, checked all ball joints for play all ok,wheel balance ok and tyres are ok, vibration starts bout 60mph but at bout 70-75 the vibrations al,most goes, cheers

Check UJ's and prop nuts/bolts, wheel bearings, half shaft play, drive flange bolts tight, wheelnuts tight, all the stuff you've already checked ....

Vibration could be anything in the rolling chassis, drivetrain and suspension components, just work through everything really, from wheel bearings back ...

Front propshaft UJs are no1 suspect

check preload on front swivels

int thi no units up wigwam near where tim tyre man used t be?

also check, steering damper, panhard and radius arm bushes. if that does not work, check the shock absorbers.
