Vibration in Idle after Changing Engine Mounts

Hi folks,

after having vibrations for years when driving (old engine mountings caused engine to sit on frame) I changed the engine mounts. Well..
Good news: much more comfortable while drinving

Bad News: heavy vibrations when running in idle. idle sounds sane and healthy but REALLY the whole car vibrates..

ANY ideas what could cause this issue …

I’ve only ever found genuine engine mounts to be any good but they’re hard to get hold of at the moment. Was it genuine ones you fitted?

I installed not genuine ones thus the OEM ones are really expensive here … what you wrote maybe right tjat cheaper ones are more rigid …
