I have spent a small fortune recently on my Disco, one thing after another seemed to need replacing, head gasket, alternator, lift pump, front propshaft, stub axle, wheel bearings etc and when I checked it over for the mot, I found several areas of rot that were not present last year despite 2 gallon of waxoyl!

It ended up being over 2 days welding on cills and inner wings, having the rear end polybushed, new A-frame ball joint, doing away with the donut and having a solid prop.

Well it went in for MOT today and passed with flying colours not a single advisory so I am a happy bunny once more :D

Cheers guys, last week I was going to get shot of it and get a late Disco 2.

But I have calmed down and its case of "better the devil you know" So I enter my 5th year of ownership, the rot is all sorted and there cant be a lot more to replace parts wise ;)
