Venting my spleen

Hi everyone, I know its not a R/R topic but what is this world coming to? The cover on my A/C on the tin tent has discoloured so I am about to respray it. I contacted the maker (begins with Ele and ends with lux ) for some new decals only to be told that they do not sell them, I will have to buy a new cover. I told them to stuff it , I will respray it and live without advertising their product. Is it just me or are they taking the prov:whoosh:erbial?

Should be in anything goes. If you are too tight to buy a new cover why worry about decals?

Why not buy a 3d printer and you can make a new cover for nothing

There is nothing wrong with the cover, just it has lost its colour. Would you buy another car because the colour had faded. No, you would respray it and replace the decals. That is all I want to do with the cover, but no, they will not sell them separate.

Cannot see your logic, there is nothing wrong with the cover except the discolouration. Working on your way of thinking, you should have replaced your car instead of servicing it. Or were you just trying to rattle my cage

Everything discolours with age, even you, save you're energy you old bugger and just leave it.

Only the sun discolours me, and less of the old

I will respray it, I have to much energy and it gives me something to pass the time.
