Just picked up a quantity of vegetable oil from Tesco on clearance at £2/3L.
Might be worth a look if you run your landy on it

need any tesco card or anything for this offer?
do you need a preheater for veggie oil in winter?
Search mate, it's been done to death.
Various opinions but no more than 50% veg oil in the winter mixed with diesel without preheating.
Looking at olive pomace oil at the moment as a possible alternative. Has the same calorific value as vegetable and sunflower oil but I haven't found much information regarding its use as fuel.
DO NOT! and I will repeat that for the hard of reading, DO NOT use any form of olive oil as a fuel!
If you want to know why, put a little of it in a container and leave it outside overnight and you will see that it sets when it goes below 5 degrees. you really don't want that happening in your fuel system.
Excellent response ! Just the sort of feedback I'm looking for. Thanks
Have a read of this http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f72/waste-veg-oil-usage-173123.html
