Hi all,

Selling a couple of bits from my garage.

2x 14CUX ECU's for a 3.9v8- working and in good condition: £35 each

Pretty much complete EFI system, including plenum, MAF, fuel rail, Loom etc: £60

MAF for 3.9 Disco: £40

Disco1: Auto Gearbox, complete with torque converter, and everything needed to convert from a manual (Not including flywheel). Good condition, no known faults. From a 3.9 Disco with 130k miles. £120

Disco Transfer Box, spares or repairs as some play in it: Make me an offer

Items are collection from near Ashbourne, or there is a possibility i can deliver anywhere between there and london, as i'm up and down fairly frequently.

happy to answer any questions.

Steve

when you say everything to convert to an auto do you mean with a shifter and cable and also an oil cooler?

Im interested.

Hi Ginge,
In case you are still interested...it does have shifter, cable oil cooler, gator etc. Just missing a flywheel.

Ok.

Could you post some pictures please? of all the components?

were you going to do the conversion or have you just broken an auto disco?

thanks

Hi Ginge,

Happy to post the pics- can i get them to you early next week, i'm working away from home at the moment?

Essentially a friend of mine has converted an auto disco v8 to a manual (personal preference, no other reason), and i bought the entire transmission from him as i was after the transfer box for my 110, and i know it's a good-un (Vehicle is immaculate!). I was toying with the idea of making my defender an auto, but the LT85 in it is only a couple of months old, and i can't afford to be silly with money at the moment, otherwise i'd keep it.

I'll get those pics to you asap.

Early next week suits me fine as a friend of mine is going to let me do a few lanes on sunday in his auto disco so i can see if i get on with it.

Do you have a transmission tunnel or cover and the pedal box also?

Sorry, didn't see this mate.

I can deal with no injun braking, i like auto's. Im trying MarkL's on a couple of lanes at the weekend.

I took the disco down stile end and a couple of other steep ones, I had to ride the brake all the way down even in low box whereas Zip who was in the other disco didn't even touch his

Manual for me now

Sorry to keep you waiting- planned to get some photos today but got completely distracted swearing at my 'fender (long story...), then my battery died. I'll try and get some tomorrow along with an inventory of what bits i've got.
I had a look at the output shaft today, and there's not a mark on it. No wear at all. I'll try and get a clear picture for you.

Not been able to take any photos today as i got stuck in Birmingham (it's been one of those weeks!). From memory the parts i have are:

Gearbox
Torque Converter
T-box Linkage
Selector + Cable
Oil Coolers x2
Gearbox Loom
Gear Stick
Plastic Gearstick Gator thingy
Transfer box lever with Leather (I think) Gator.
Assorted Nuts and bolts

I don't have the pedal box unfortunately, and i'm missing the Flywheel.

Pics tomorrow (fingers crossed...)
