Does anyone have any thoughts on values of the 90 v 110?

I have a Defender 90 CSW 02 plate, it has air con, electric windows and LR Boost alloys. Which I guess is the spec as it came from the factory.

My question is; what would a 110 with the same spec, condition, mileage etc be valued at in comparison with a 90? i.e. for example if the 90 is worth say £7000 is a 110 worth the same, less or more?

I need a 110 but but don't have a lot of dosh at the moment so looking to perhaps swap but would be interested in what the difference in values would be.

I was offered £7k on my TD5 52 reg 110 Van three weeks ago on a trade in, with 94k on the clock, no aircon (but it has been looked after). So I reckon if you shop around you should find something fairly reasonable.

i thought it was other way round 90 are more expensive than 110, when i was looking for a landt there were more 110's and 90's were less common

If you had a 110 you wouldn't be thinking of parting with it .....

110 vans and pick-ups are good working vehicles, but not that popular as toys or leisure vehicles. 90 pick-ups and vans, aren't as useful for a working truck, becouse they dont have the space, but make a great leisure vehicle.
110CSW is the best of both; carries a family or a shed-load of trade materials, tows anything from a camping trailer to a three ton stock-box, and they command a premium over most other models.
IF you wanted to trade your 90CSW in for a 110CSW you would probably have to sacrafice some of the extras, or take something slightly older not to break the budget....
You may also have to hunt around for one, bide your time to find the right one at the right price, and be prepared to travel for it, becouse they are not the kind of car that gets bought on a whim, people tend to have a pretty good reason for buying one, and hang on to it as long as it does that job, and becouse they last, they dont get traded in as soon as the HP deal is up for renewal.
But its swings and roundabouts; 110's stay desirable, and if you look after it, if/when you come to sell, it should sell easily, and command proportional premium.
Googlie in the pot, though is the 110 crew-cab..... shouldn't be any more valuable than the other commercials, in fact by rites shouldn't be any more valuable than ANY of the Defenders, as it's sort of neither nor...... but used for Tomb-Raider, and looking like a 'trendy' Mitsubishi, but with the 'credability' of being a 'propper' off-roader curtecy of the green oval...... they seem to be fetching silly money as a fasion icon... (Sorry crew-cab owners! But I when you see people POLISHING them.........)

That's interesting reading. I'm going to chuck-in an L322 in the next couple of months and have been looking at 110's for a while now. There isn't a great deal of difference in price between a used 2.4 Puma and a TD5 on low mileage. The 2.4 obviously has all the cab refinements over the TD5, but what about overall performance? I'd appreciate any advice anyone can offer

Not got mine yet but one big thing I noticed was there's oodles of Land Rover 90s up for grabs but fck all 110s. This tells me people are hanging onto them and don't want to get rid of them, a good sign.
I've noticed that 90s usually are selling cheaper than 110s and the short dumpy frame isn't good for using as an RV or Bail-out vehicle.
That said parking it in a big town or city would be easier. They also have a slight edge 4x4.offroad wise.
