Vacuum hose Insert

Hi guys i have a 2003 freelander se3. Recently the Pcv hose breather that connects to the manifold and intake broke

I went to the land rover dealership and ordered the hose insert with the red clip that holds the hose together but they gave me the wrong insert

they gave me the 9mm insert but I need the bigger one. They told me they can't find the part. Any one know we're I can order this part.

Kay This is the insert I'm talkin about I just received a voicemail from the LR dealership nd they tell me I need to buy the cam cover

that's the only way I can get the larger insert

I can probably just tape or put silicon around the hose right? It's just a vacuum hose btw

brass tube to sleave it, surgically clean and good quality epoxy-not 30 min stuff may work.

Falling that ebay or similar

Here's the part # I got from the dealership LZN100220L Is it the same as the one u described I can't tell I did a google check on both nd can't tell if they are the different maybe you can

measure yours and see which one it is. britcar has both exactly the same just different sizes. I took your engine to the KV6 pure gues that was mind!! but seen as its just a push insert and seems to have popped out I would just "push" it back in with the assistance of some glue.

I know im a bit late but its good for the next reader..

LZN100220L Larger on valve cover approx. $40
(if found a lot less, stock up)
LZN100390L Smaller lookin around $10
Push down on the red ring, should pull out nicely

Nice info. You can also go to a store that supplies plumbing hardware and search for push fit inserts. Just take the push insert collar and insert it into the oil dip stick insert. I believe it was a 1/2 push fit. In all it cost me 6 dollars for two of the push fit inserts and i didnt have to drill anything out, its been a good year running and no problems. Or just do it the right way. Thanks for the info Landerfree.

One just broke today, gonna look for a push insert. Save a few bucks and not have to wait for shipping
