V8 rockers

Hi can anyone tell me how to tell OEM rockers against aftermarket? Is there any distinguished marks or tell tale signs?

Are you referring to rocker covers or rocker gear?

It's the rockers (Tappets).

Post pics of existing rocker gear - chances are it's original

If the new ones don't come in sealed packets with the LR label & logo on them then I think you'll struggle.
You can ask the supplier but how are you going to verify what they are telling you?
And over the years that the V8 has been used in LR & other vehicles I wouldn't be in the least surprised if there are several different OE manufacturers.

The rocker shafts will also be worn, so you would need to replace those as well.

Or take a look here and talk to Turner engineering for whatever rocker components are needed. All components are readily available. If engine over 50k miles it's near guaranteed your camshaft lifters will be worn too

And you don't replace them without replacing the camshaft.
