v8 Exhaust manifolds

HI, can anyone through any light on 3.5 twin down pipe manifolds compared to 3.9 twin down pipe manifolds off a range or disco. Do the 3.9 ones flow better or are they the same.

3.9 are said to breath better as an upgrade on 3.5- haven't tried myself
