V8 defender 110 csw

what is this vehicle worth any ideas ?

1988 110 defender csw,
V8 engine,
97,000 miles
chassis is ok,
doors are very good,
interior in need of tidying,
body work ok but rusty body cappings,
not heard the engine running and as yet have not driven it but engine and box not that important as i plan to swap the V8 for a 300TDi.
it has not been on the road for a few years (parked up)

so any of you have any idea what sort of money you would expect to pay for this land rover ?

ive had a look around and im watching one on ebay but would like some idea as to what a resonable price for it would be before i jump in with both feet. :confused2:

Not much. If it's been standing for ages the's sure to be loads needing replacement. It's sure to be a fair bit worse than it looks at first sight.

I'm assuming no MOT....£300?

Fookin hell you can't get 300 quid for a decent tdi these days pretty sure there aren't too many people desperate to own a V8 out there.

£150 for a good V8 £50 if ya can't hear it running.

the engine is comming straight out and the box shortly after if i get it ! i aint got no idea what sort of money it should be worth, usually a vehicle is only worth what the person buying wants to pay.
i quite like the 110 csw but i also wanna get the 90 defender i have been rebuilding for the last two years on the road. i dont mind bits that need replacing as i intend to stip it bare any ways and rebuild it back up to the same quality i have done on my 90 defender.
god i hate hard choices !
