Hi guys
After a long and protracted amount of work on my Freelander after 3 months it was eventually started today. All appeared well however after idling for a while the fans kicked in big time. The temperature gauge indicated normal temperature however the top hose was hot (Expected however the radiator was cold as was the bottom hose. Initial thoughts were I had an air lock but try as I might I cant seem to get water flow through the Rad. My thoughts are that due to sitting for 3 months the Thermostat has resigned and is not opening that said I have noted many of you wise folks out there have mentioned that the system can be a pain to bleed. Clearly I dont want to spend money on a fresh stat if I dont need to so any advice would be welcome
Thanks
