Da Range's wife posting here, so excuse the newbieness of this post
I've got a Freelander V6 automatic 2004 model (but only 44,000 KM on clock ) which vibrates at around 3000-4000 revs just as the transmission change from 1st to 2nd. As soon as the gear change happens and the revs drop, all is fine once more and the vibration as gone. The vibration is juddery and feels like its coming from the front.
I've got quite off roady tyres on it at the moment which seem to be amplifying the problem but I don't think they are to blame. Bahrain's roads are not the smoothest in the world, thats why we all love our 4x4s out here but the vibration has been happening on the motorway as well as the dirt tracks.
Da Range has a few theories as to what the problem might be but he's not a Freelander man so I've come here for your advice.
Thanks!
