"and trying forte leak stop "

DO NOT DO THIS.

Get it back the garage and let them sort out this mess.

Your water should not be brown on even a half decently maintained system.
I won't, I would only do this of I had to use it, but I don't.
I've emailed the dealer and will see if he will do anything and it will go into a garage for investigation at some point and I'll take it from there.
I agree about a well maintained vehicle, it will be well maintained by me once I'm past these issues.

Brown coolant is bad, very bad as it may have dog **** rad seal in it.
Basically if its loosing that much coolant a run up to temp and a few minutes looking around it should come up with a leak, if defo no leak then you are looking at possible head or gasket problem.
Some coolant leaks are devious bastards and can drip onto a hot part of the engine this then evaporates the water so theres not evidence.
As for the garage fixing the oil leak, cleaning it off is not a fix
Have you checked around the bottom of the heater box?

The pic you have posted if you look at that circle above the head bolt it will show you the year it was cast.
Is it a def or disco engine?
If not sure stick an engine bay pic up
What temp is it running at and how many miles before its at normal temp from cold?

Called the dealer I bought it off and he told me to call the warranty company, they said put it in a garage for a report.
Garage found a crack in the engine!
Dealer said this will be sorted, possibility another engine, or part rebuild the current engine, which seems unlikely...
All sounds like it will be sorted but we'll only tell in time...

Booked in to have the engine swapped for another second hand of similar mileage by bespoke off road on the 26th of May...

See if you can ask to keep the old engine as the parts on it are worth quite a bit

I'm trying to find out how much a recon engine is and have posted on here in the 200dti engine area of this forum. The dealer offered to pay me what it is going to cost him to get the second engine fitted, I could put that towards and recon and pay the rest myself, get an engine I know and keep the old one.

Not getting any answers though...
