Urgent Help Required. 09 Vogue passenger door, No electric

Hi, I am new to this forum and am in urgent need of help regarding my 2009 Vogue. The front passenger door has no electrics. It is locked shut and it will not unlock, the window will not work and the electric wing mirror will not work either.

Any help will be much appreciated. Somebody has told me that i May need to take the door card off the inside.

The wiring loom as it passes through the A Pillar into the door has been known to get wet and corrode.

Trouble you have now is getting to it with a door that won't open.

Whilst it may be possible to remove the door card with a door closed, having the chair in the way is a major hindrance, you would be better off trying to get the chair out first.

Be warned though, go carefully and methodically, disconnect the battery first and be prepared for a few swearing moments.

Whilst I hate to point you to another Forum (cos LZ is awesome) fullfatrr.com - Index are more versed with the later model L322's.

Never done it myself so I wouldn't be able to advise...but it is going to be heavy, ungainly and lots of electrical connections!

If it is anything like the P38 seats, the seat rails will be bolted fore and aft onto the body, and it would be easier to remove the seat with the rails attached.

Get hold of RAVE manuals as this should detail the process.

A search on here, or in the Wiki on fullfatrr.com - Index will give you links to RAVE (make sure you select the 2007-2010 model - I posted a link a while ago, I'll see if I can find it)

The format is PDF, and it is a little tiresome to navigate around as it is not as well laid out as the true copy of the original RAVE manuals, but should get you going in the right direction, best of luck!

Door card can be pulled back far enough at top to get at lock. But you have to destroy the lock to open it.

Certainly works on an 04 one. Have done it. Unless the design has changed greatly.

Good to know, I know it can ge done on a P38, but no experience on the L322

You have to be pretty brutal with a long screwdriver and an hammer to break off the cover plate. You can then unsneck it.
