:D :D :D :D Says it all

482 miles covered before putting fuel in ( still had loads )
59.68 ltrs added
108.9 a litre

Equals 36.72 mpg, 13.48p per mile

:D :D :D :D Well chuffed

The Hiclones have helped I think, since fitting my AUTO TD5 goes into final drive at approx 45mph, and not the usual 55mph, giving me more ooomph uphills without kickdown

Me happy, as it was only A roads, not motorway

it's the only way to tell whether its the egr or the hiclone giving you the edge, you can always put it back and give us a report?

Here's the best bit of advice you will ever receive about HiClones.

Hiclones - DO NOT EVEN ASK WHAT THEY ARE.

OK?

But plate your EGR immediately if you've not done it yet!

tis a round thingy with vanes init like a fan.....goes in yer air supply pipe to the inlet manifold...sposed ta swirl the air around and give the air/fuel mix a good swirling to stir it up a bit 4 a better burn....cant see it working in a TD5 tho cos its direct injection. to me its like fitting a big air restrictor in yer manifold. dunno bout the mpg....work in l/km here
