hi all now i have the series 2a up and running and using it a lot more i have been thinking of changing the diffs .due to it reving its tits of at 45 50 mph its a 2.25 diesle .i know this can be done but what diffs should i be looking for just to bring the revs down and give a bit more road speed and what price should i expect to pay for the diffs any info on this will be helpfull thanks .before i buy the wrong stuff off ebay thanks

any 3.5 10 spline diff will do(defender ,disco rrc) but for rear one, with a filler in diff housing if possible as axle case wont have a filler plug in rear diff pan as later axles had ,although you can fit your own filler plug/hole, this is the reason early rrc diffs were used as they had filler in diff housing too ,front and rear diffs are identical
 
ok thanks it was the 10 spline i was not sure of .will start looking to see what i can find what sort of performance and economy should i expect. and will be useing first gear to set of as i dont use it at the mo due to it being so low geared .thanks for that .
