Whilst driving my temp gauge drops. As soon as there is no load on the engine the gauge rises to normal. I read that if the sender is faulty then readings are calculated off the fuel temp. So does this mean my gauge is faulty. Landy runs fine with no warning lights.

Spot on Shifty.

Checked the ecu earth - I gave it a clean and it was a bit better but not 100%. So I ran a cable from the negative to the earth and bingo.
I'm guessing the bolts to secure the aluminium tub have some galvanic corrosion which won't be helping.
