Ok so first off, hi, I'm new and did a short intro in the intro section.

I have a 2009 supercharged L322 Autobiography with an unlocking issue which I've tried to research till blue in the face.

I think I know what the problem is but would like some extra opinions.

Basically the rear doors, boot lid and fuel flap are locked and usually won't open. The problem is somewhat intermittent but usually falls on the side of "I'm not opening for you today." Coupled with this is that the power steering doesn't function but the car is driveable.

Now I know there can be issues related to the Body Control Module but I'm fairly certain it isn't that directly. I've read a lot about it and have come up with it being one of the fuse boxes (the one under the bonnet I think). People say that the connectors for the rear locks and the power steering are next to each other in there and can either be corroded or they can "interfere" with each other. Any opinions on that?

I have a secondary problem that I found this evening.
I need fuel (badly), fuel flap is locked. I opened the boot lid manually from inside the car, pulled out the drivers side access hatch and pulled the manual fuel flap opening wire thing but it wouldn't unlock the fuel flap. How can a cable linked to the lock in the flap, not open it? It pulls fine (comes out about 3 or 4 inches) and it returns fine (retreats back inside when I let go). The whole operation of it looks and feels normal but the fuel flap stays locked... all this is done with the engine off but I'm getting no joy at all and it's driving me insane so any opinions on this would also be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Luke.
