I've consulted RAVE many times trying to understand how everything is tied together in these lovely machines. And every time I've consulted it I've come up with the same question: where can I find out what's the purpose of each wire that goes into the BECM ? I mean, is there a table somewhere that says that wire 1 is connected to A, wire 2 to B, and so on ?
I know I can read all the schematics and come up with this table (that I would gladly share, of course), but that's really the last resort.
And a specific question: the Black/Yellow wire that comes from the BECM (position 8) into the glow plug relay, what is it for ? I've just installed a hot start fix and found that someone had cut this wire and soldered it. Every other wire that is needed to install the hot fix had also been cut/splice so I'm guessing that someone tried a hot fix before and probably thought that they could use the BY wire as an earth.
