Hi, I have just had my Defender 90 M.O.T. done (2001 Tomb Raider) and was advised to have the underside of it steam cleaned and stone guarded. I have been dabbling in a bit of offroading so have collected some mud! I usually try my best to clean it after being off road but it’s hard to do properly without a ramp. Would anyone recommend I do this or is any other treatment? Thanks

Climb under with a pressure washer plenty or room! For wasting your money on underseal old engine oil mixed with paraffin yearly spred over with brush and pressurised spray contaneer for akward bits. stone chips my god it's a defender FFS not a rolls Royce !

Presure was and waxoil will last a few years then. But is a very messy job to do

As said pressure wash and a good coat of waxoyl is a good idea for any Defender, a paper coverall is advised unless you are careful or you don't want your clothes
