Are colway mud terains any good as i have the option of getting a new set very cheap .

They're OK ... The tread is a copy of BFG MT's, so should work well, but the tread material is somewhat different and doesn't, in my experience give either the same level of grip or the lifespan of BFG's.

Many say they're better off-road as they're a lot less cost to replace when/if you feck a sidewall up .. I'll stick to BFG's personally.

'course, it all depends on how cheap ... and how many you can get for the price ...

got a set of colways just lyin around there sposed to ne quite good

Colways MT's are great. It's a shame colway went tits up.
