Tyres

Anybody know the standard wheel and tyre size for Defender 90's.
Mine is fitted with 235/85/R16 but i dont think these are the standard one for a 90.
Any one recomend a good tyre brand etc.
Also does anyone know the correct tyre pressures for these tyres on a 90,front and rear,General Grabber TR?

My 90 2003 came with those very tyres from new...so reckon they are standard.

...and I also asked for a better tyre-as though everyone says they are Ok...I have found them almost dangerous in the wet , not much cop in the mud...and cant believe they will be very good in the snow either...

When I got my 90 it had 205/70/R16s, pretty skinny tyres. Opted to go for BF Goodrich All Terrain, 235/85/R16 and perform and handle much much better.

Cannot recommend BF ATs enough

Geko,what tyre pressures are you running them on mate?

Its 30psi all around. Be interested in knowing if anyone has any views on setting different pressures for front and back.

2001 beyond Td5 defenders are 235/85/16 on alloys. 28 psi.

Manual says 28 front...38 back...
