Have you considered winter tyres? :p
 
Best thing you could do with a freelander in winter is burn it and save money on not only your heating bill but also fuel, tax, insurance etc.... Oh and of course tyres :)
 
Don't be mean, the poor guy already has the disadvantage of owning a Freelander :p

Welcome OP, I have never had the shame of owning such a vehicle, but if I did, I would think these would be far better for winter than the nasty round black ones :):)
