Evening all,

I'm driving to France then to Belgium soon and need some decent road tyres! I currently have 4x Insa Turbo rangers, which are pretty much brand new, can anyone recommend a good but cheap road tyre, or semi A/T? (or if anyone has a set of 4x tyres they would swap for my insa turbos + some cash?)

Other than a full service, is there anything else I should check before I do this trek?

Tah

They are at home in garage at the moment and I am not back home till monday night, they are all road legal and the one on the back of my disco is new (michelin)I can ask my partner to sent me a picture and forward it onto you. what insa turbos are they and what vehicle are they off and will they come on rims.

OK mate yeah if you can. I'll pm you my number. The insa turbo rangers are good off road!! they are not like proper mud tyres they're 50/50 on road off road. brand new pretty much!! they are on alloys ATM (better alloys than standard) they're on my disco 1 300tdi atm and I don't go off roading so don't need them!!

That suits me, we can just do a straight swop or cash difference either way, if you can put picture up as well that would be good. forgot to say mines a disco 1 300tdi too so will go on know problem, my 5th wheel is on a steel.

there are 4 tyres off the rims and one that needs to come off, as its on a boost alloy that matches the others (that now have 35`s on) so you would need to have your tyres removed and these fitted. Im not bothered about the insas or cash to be honest the tyres where on a defender i bought last month that is being turned into an off roader, i was going to keep the tyres for my D2 but if helps you out then its not a problem, ill get a picture of them but they are in my unit at work but im not there till monday, they are in very good condition

Heres my wheels on alloys

Milton Keynes to France and Belgium is not far at all, I'd suggest if your car is working you probably don't need to do a lot other than the usual kit you need to carry for the continent. If your happy driving to Manchester in your car you should be ok with this trip.
