Tyres - Again

Anybody know if 7.50R16 are OK to use on a 200 Discovery with a 2" lift?

Just looking around for some decent rubber and Paddocks are doing a 750R16
Michelin XZL on Wolf rims for £99+VAT each

They work out to same size as 235/85x16, and they caught on my
offroading Disco, until I fitted a set of flared arches from Devon 4x4

actually, they're about 2" narrower than 235/85 and as such MIGHT not foul
the bodywork.

correct. 7.50r16 works out at a little over 19 centimetres wide, whereas a
235/85 is 23.5 centimetres wide. or 4.5cms difference, near enough to two
inches.

if you fit new modular rims they will have a wider offset than std rims
and so will stick out farther by around 1 " , thus not touching the
chassis and not needing steering stops adjusting .

750x16 are about 2 " larger in diameter than 205x16 but same width
roughly .

235x85x16 are larger diameter again than 7.50x16 and also a fair amount
wider .

try looking at www.sowdentyres.co.uk , i bought 235/85x16 colway MT
for 50 quid each incl delivery and vat .
they sell various sizes to suit what you need, in either AT or MT
tread pattern depending on what you want .

215/70x16
225/70x16
235/70x16 should fit yours ok ..
