what was the spray called he used...

so if I buy my tires of the tinterweb and use a high lift to remove the old ones , use the flamethrower to fit the new ones .. how about the valve and balance..

oh and I need a compressor as well....

me too. very impressive.. just setting me off thinking bout saving a fortune then I realise that for most of us it aint gonna happen..

another q.. why... when you go and see it done in a tyre place they just put the tyre on and blow it up.. no seating required.. or am I missing sommat?????

They will inflate the tyre to pop the bead onto the rim, exactly the same process as using the flammable spray just a bit slower. You only need to use the spray technique when stuck out in the middle of nowhere without access to a compressor, as you won't be able to inflate the tyre quick enough to pop the bead with just a foot pump! Plus it will take you ages.

They will balast air into it to force it outwards onto the rim, its one hell of a mission to do it with a normal compressor, this way is quick, easy and hasstle free.

Actually is wasnt Lynx, it was tescos own immitation lynx.
