As I've advanced from my old Skoda electric compressor, so should I progress from my key and a cheap digi tyre pressure gauge to keep my tyres in check.

But which system and what are the advantages of one over the other?

Classic ARB deflator gauge.

Or the pressure caps?

Who's using what and why do you prefer that method?

Deflator gauge. It's probably easier to screw it on let air out then read instead of reconnecting & checking on valve system.

But hey I use neither. Tyres are left alone. Get good compressor & charge tank.

I was hoping for something more, shall we say, deliberate?
Ah, ok. Assuming that you have moved past this: https://www.halfords.com/workshop-t...alfords-essential-twin-barrel-foot-pump-gauge
then how about something from Ring? They seem to get quite a good name

This one has the advantage of direct contact to the battery - rather than melting a cigarette-lighter socket. I got a version of this recently for 75 notes, but they seem to have discontinued it. :(

Twin cylinder 150psi pump, check :)
2 gallon tank, found, but haggling over price as it's a light weight ally one ;)

Ideally i want to have a fit & forget system with Q-fit couplings front & rear using nylon 10mm pneumatic lines.
